Muraba Veil: A 380-Meter Landmark Redefining Dubai’s Skyline with Pritzker-Winning Design
Dubai-based developer Muraba has joined forces with Pritzker Prize-winning RCR Arquitectes to bring a visionary skyscraper to downtown Dubai: Muraba Veil. This innovative 380-meter tower, blending modernity with heritage-inspired elements, reflects a decade of collaboration between the developer and architects.
Set to stand out in Dubai’s skyline, Muraba Veil’s slender profile reaches 73 stories but spans a width of just 22.5 meters, an extraordinary ratio that enhances its architectural allure. The tower will feature 131 luxury apartments, each spanning the building’s full width to provide residents with sweeping views in both directions. Amenities will include a spa, art gallery, restaurant, private cinema, padel court, and communal spaces designed to reflect the surrounding desert landscape.
Muraba Veil’s signature feature, the “veil,” is a porous stainless steel mesh wrapping the entire structure. This striking element not only adds visual depth but also enhances energy efficiency by adapting to Dubai’s changing light while promoting natural ventilation and privacy. Inspired by traditional Middle Eastern courtyards, the design reimagines local architectural traditions through a contemporary lens.
Scheduled for completion in December 2028, Muraba Veil is set to redefine Dubai’s skyline with its narrow profile and eco-conscious design, offering an unparalleled fusion of luxury living and architectural innovation.
